What's On TV
I saw an ad for the new WB series "Jack and Bobby" which comes out this fall. It's about a president and his brother when they were young. Sound familiar? Thankfully, it's not. The similarities are just there to peak interest I guess.
Anyway, once I did some reaserch and assured myself that they weren't breaking the cardinal rule and messing with real people, I decided it sounded interesting. So, that's at least one show to look forward to.
Of course, the shows I eagerly anticipate are never the ones I end up liking and the ones I think I'll hate, I end up loving for at least a little bit. Case in point, Charmed, I thought it sounded stupid but decided to watch one episode to check it out and totally loved it. There have been a lot of shows that have sounded good, but which I never watched more than a couple episodes of, I just can't name any right now because I've tried to block them out of my memory.
Also, I have this tendancy to ignore a show for a couple seasons and then catch it by accident and fall in love, even if I'd seen a couple episodes in the past and hadn't been impressed or simply dismissed it on the premiss. Either way, again this has happened to me a lot. So, I guess there's no point in eagerly anticipating a TV show.
Oh, god, I just realized I wasted three paragraphs talking about TV shows. I have no life. Really I have no life. I also have no real idea what I'm doing on Thursday. I need to finalize my plans. Figure out exactly what's up, I mean there are other people concerned here.
So, tomorrow I will actually attempt to get everything under control. Sounds good, right? I wish I could get comfortable. But no matter which say I sit, my side hurts. No big deal, it's been happening for a couple days on and off, but it is annoying and tonight it's been pretty persistant. Ah, well, it'll go away, right?
